Officials from the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) seized 30 cocaine fingers inside the Carabobo Palace of Justice, according to military sources.
The military obtained the drug during the inspection of the food that relatives brought to those deprived of liberty.
These foods would be delivered when the inmates were transferred from different establishments to the Carabobo Palace of Justice for the respective hearings.
The 30 thimbles of cocaine, which totaled 440 grams, were hidden in a plastic container that was going to be delivered to the prisoner identified as José Daniel Pérez, held at the El Libertador New Man Training Center, located in Tocuyito (Carabobo). , according to a report from Detachment 411 of the GNB.
The Public Ministry was informed of the procedure.
