Officials from the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) located 93 blocks of marijuana on the banks of the Canaguá River, in the Boca de La Tigra sector, Pedraza municipality, Barinas state, according to reports.
The 93 packages were hidden inside a plastic container and weighed a total of 97 kilos 700 grams, according to a report from GNB Detachment 331.
Another anti-drug procedure was carried out at the La Aduana Citizen Service Point, located in El Amparo, José Antonio Páez municipality (Guasdualito), Apure state. There they arrested Wuilmari Luxmar Sánchez Díaz, who was transporting two packs of marijuana (1 kilo 780 grams) and one of cocaine (155 grams) in a horn, according to a report from the 353rd River Detachment.
A similar procedure was carried out at the passenger terminal in Maracaibo (Zulia), where the military arrested Nerio Enrique González González, who was carrying a pack of marijuana (531 grams) and another of cocaine (44 grams) hidden in a horn, according to a report from Detachment 111 of the GNB.
The detainees were handed over to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for prosecution for illicit drug trafficking among other crimes.
