García described as “disgusting” and “filth” to associate Larrañaga with the Astesiano case

The Minister of National Defense, Javier García, referred this Thursday to the case of the former Custodian of the president, Alejandro Astesiano, given the information released in recent days and described as “filth” and “disgusting” that the former Minister of the Interior, Jorge Larrañaga, is related to the case.

Regarding the leak of the case and the information itself, the chief said that it is “naive” to believe that this is happening little by little and pointed out that someone has it all but “doses” it.

“You have to be a naive monument to think that this dosage of chats does not have someone to say: ‘this one comes out today, this one comes out tomorrow,'” he said.

“Do you think that a person walks down the street and finds a chat room today? Do you think that tomorrow he goes to the Tristán Narvaja fair and says ‘today I am going to find a chat? No, boy,” she mused.

In addition, he assured that “they are all (the chats) in someone’s pocket, someone who intentionally doses.”

However, in dialogue with Informal breakfasts, Garcia avoided talking about the veracity of the information. “I don’t have the means to get inside the courthouse,” he said instead.

The “follow-up” of Ponce de León

Likewise, García downplayed the information about the alleged monitoring of Lorena Ponce de León during a personal trip and said that the safety of the president and his family is a “matter of State”. “It is not a matter that is within the reach of the will of the people. There is a regulation to protect the family from him, ”he said.

On this point, he referred to the investigation of the three of the National Police, Jorge Berriel, whose lawyer, Andrés Ojeda, said that his client responded to Astesiano’s requests because it was a “direct order” of the deceased Larranaga.

“What is happening in these hours is disgusting, what is being done seems filthy to me,” criticized García. “Using a deceased person, Larrañaga, to entangle him, to put him on the table with the sole objective of harming the president, of having an electoral political purpose. Seems like absolute filth to me. I don’t know this Uruguay, I don’t know it, ”he lamented.
