According to data collected between July 29 and August 4, in interviews with 1,730 people, 46.1% of the population would vote for the FA, while 25.3% would support the National Party (PN). Other parties such as the Colorado Party (PC) and Cabildo Abierto (CA) would obtain 9.7% and 1.3% of the votes, respectively.
The survey also revealed that 2.6% of respondents would vote for other political parties, and 14% did not know or preferred not to answer about their voting preference.
Comparing these results with the previous measurement, Nómade highlighted a “decline” in the voting intention of the PN, which fell by 7 points, while the FA experienced a growth of 4.6%.
The undecided and the rejection of the FA
As for the undecided, the survey showed that almost 4 out of 10 people expressed sympathy for the two parties with the highest voting intention: 19.9% leaned towards the FA and 18.6% towards the PN. However, the undecided also expressed greater rejection towards the FA, with 28.9%, followed by Cabildo Abierto with 17%.
Nómade also asked respondents if they had changed their voting intention after the internal elections and the definition of the presidential formulas. 83.5% answered no, while 11.7% said yes.
Possible runoff between FA and PN
In the event of a run-off in November between the Yamandú Orsi-Carolina Cosse ticket for the FA and Álvaro Delgado-Valeria Ripoll for the PN, the survey indicates that the FA ticket would win with 51.5% of the votes, compared to 34.2% for the PN. 14.3% of those surveyed do not know, prefer not to answer, or would vote blank or spoil.
Perception of the next president
