A man who was the former director of Carnival of Promises was sentenced for sexual abuse to four years and six months in prisonreported Underlined (channel 10) and confirmed sources from the prosecution to The Observer.
Some of the victims recounted the cases of abuse to the Instagram account “Carnival Men”which made the cases public in August 2020.
The accused was sentenced forr Repeated crimes of violent indecent assault, two crimes of specifically aggravated sexual abuse, a crime of promising remuneration to a minor in exchange for performing acts of a sexual nature, all in real repetition.
This is how criminal judge Laura Sunhary de las Carreras defined it this Friday. In addition, she took away his parental authority and is disqualified from holding positions in health or education, dealing with minors, for a period of 10 years.
One of the victims will receive compensation of 12 minimum wages.
