The Ministry of Health, through the Directorate of Health Establishments, carried out this Saturday the control of Karina Sarno’s office, of Argentine nationality, who does not have registration to practice the profession of doctor in our country.
In this context, Public Health proceeded to verify the Sarno office, where, according to publications on social networks, family medicine, psychiatry, naturopathic medicine, German medicine, alternative therapies, bioquantum analysis, alternative treatments for COVID-19, in addition to the provision of medical certificates for not receiving the anticovid vaccine and not taking the PCR test.
On that occasion it was found that the establishment was not open.
It is worth mentioning that the foreign doctor withdrew a child who was in respiratory distress from the General Hospital of Luque, after the father refused to have his son swabbed to rule out or confirm whether it was COVID-19 . Both declared on the occasion to be deniers of the disease.
The case was reported to the Public Ministry, considering the violation of the child’s right to health, in addition to the abuse of a person outside the care center.
The Ministry of Health ordered the investigation of a summary for irregular exercise of the profession, considering that Mrs. Karina Sarno is not qualified to exercise the medical profession in Paraguay.
The intervention was led by Malvina Caballero, Director of the Directorate of Health Establishments of the Ministry of Health, with the accompaniment of other health authorities.
