the province of Corrientes registered this Friday two active sources of forest firesreported the National Fire Management Service (SNMF), under the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development.
According to the agency’s daily report, the fires in Corrientes remained active in the town of Caá Catí and in Ituzaingówhere three hydrant planes belonging to the SNMF were deployed from the bases of Mercedes, Concepción and Apóstoles (Misiones).
In turn, the SNMF offered the Corrientes provincial government air assets and brigade members.
Meanwhile, the fires in the town of Aluminé, in Neuquén; and in the Lago Martín Complexlocated in the Rio Negro city of Bariloche, were “contained”, that is, they maintain their activity but for the work carried out by the brigade members in the place, the progress of the fire was stopped.
