Five presumed officials of the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence (Dgcim) were arrested for their alleged participation in the murder of Yadimar Del Valle Sierra Elías (11).
The identity of the detainees was revealed by the director of the Cicpc, Commissioner Douglas Rico, through his Instagram account. They are: Oscar Alejandro Flores Castillo (32), Jesús Jonathan Padrón Rivas (40), Ángel Ignacio Camargo Hernández (32), Luis Enrique Molina Salcedo (44) and Miguel Antonio Sánchez Quiroz (20).
The Cicpc makes the clarification that Bugui Alexander Romero Hurtado (20) and his partner, Oriana Paola La Rosa Cedeño (25) still have to be arrested.
Relatives and neighbors pointed out that on Sunday, November 13, the day the 11-year-old girl was murdered, these people were wearing clothing alluding to the Dgcim. This event occurred in the La Lira sector, Las Casitas, La Dolorita parish, Sucre municipality, Miranda state.
In relation to how the events occurred, the director of the Cicpc explained that that Sunday, Miguel Sánchez received a call from Bugui Romero, with the purpose of ingesting alcoholic beverages, together with his partner Oriana, in a house located in the aforementioned area. As the hours go by, Bugui tells Miguel that there were some men outside the house, who wanted to strip him of his belongings, Miguel choosing to leave the house and verify what was happening.
Bugui was carrying a firearm with which he aimed at residents of the area, causing a discussion among those present, who opted to contact the rest of the men, who arrived aboard two cars, says the Cicpc.
Once they arrived at the scene, they drew firearms and fired them at the residents, one of the injured being the girl Yadimar.
The detainees and the people on the run, noticing what had happened, fled the site, the police report indicates. During the arrest of the aforementioned, five pistol-type firearms, used on the day of the murder, were located as evidence.
Those captured were handed over to the 66th, 105th and 109th Prosecutors of the Public Ministry of the Caracas Metropolitan Area.
