Said compliance is within the framework of the current Resolution No. 79/2023 “For which declares environmental contingency throughout the national territory for the comprehensive management of solid urban waste generated in the different municipalities of the Republic and for the purposes of adopting all necessary environmental protection measures”, issued by MADES.

In said Resolution it was established the compulsory presentation by the municipal authorities their respective Environmental Contingency Plans for the Comprehensive Management of Urban Solid Wastewhose term expired on February 17 of the current year.

MADES will proceed, through inspections and interventions, to strict compliance with Art.4 and Art.6 of Resolution No. 79/2023.
