“The murder of Carlos Lance It has nothing to do with a passionate or political motive, as they wanted to make it appear (…) the motive is the corruption led by her partner Maxiorisol Cumare (Mayi), with what was revealed by Tito Viloria, Darwin, Glenn Castellanos. Carlos refused this attitude of hers”, declared the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab.
In statements on the program Here with Ernesto Villegas, the Attorney General stressed that the different versions and lies made by Cumare, during the two years of investigation gave rise to intensify the interrogations to find the truth about the disappearance of Carlos Lanz, he refers the state channel.
He stressed that there were elements within the investigation that made the State security forces and officials of the Public Ministry determine the existence of obstruction for the criminal investigation.
“Carlos Lanz left his house voluntarily, there was no violent extraction, there were no unusual movements, we can say that he always said where he was going. According to his wife, he violated that daily life. Lanz never went out with anyone unknown to his house, ”was the first element that was determined to account for the obstruction of the investigation, Saab said.
He added that in the first interrogations, Lanz’s wife always had a hostile attitude against the Ministry, “she questioned the entity head-on, even spoke of the role of the Venezuelan State… They wanted to impose the political motive by force.”
“The recurring lies in an investigation finally reveal what the motive has been,” he said.
