Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) seized more than nine kilograms of cocainein the state of Táchira, from Colombia, informed the head of the Strategic Operational Command of the FANB (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez.
«FANB continues to deal blows to drug trafficking. In the Guarumito PAC, Táchira state, more than 9 kg of cocaine from Colombia were seized, “said Hernández Lárez, through his account on the social network Twitter.
Likewise, the FANB, in its fight against drug trafficking, also captured in the state of Táchira, specifically at the Vega de Aza service point, a citizen who was transporting more than one kilogram of intra-organic cocaine.
“A narco-mule with more than 1 kg of intra-organic cocaine” was captured, the Chief of Ceofanb said on his Twitter account.
He reiterated that the FANB continues to be deployed in the fight against the Armed Terrorist Drug Trafficking groups of Colombia (Tancol) in the country’s cross-border axes.
The Head of Ceofanb indicated that the case of the captured citizen was placed at the order of the Public Ministry.
Track disabling continues
On the other hand, Hernández Lárez pointed out that the FANB continues with the disabling of illegal runways, in order to eliminate all criminal action by irregular groups.
“URRA of Zapadores de Combate disabling illegal runways in the state of Amazonas,” he said.
FANB fights against drug trafficking and illegal mining
As part of the actions carried out by military personnel in the country’s cross-border axes, Operation “Bolivarian Shield” continues “exercising sovereignty in the fight against drug trafficking and illegal mining,” said Hernández Lárez.
Militia deployed in the east
On the other hand, the Bolivarian Militia announced this Tuesday the deployment of Special Units in the east of the country, to combat the Terrorist Narcotrafficking groups of Colombia (TANCOL).
“Great deployment to the East of the country; of the Special Units of the Bolivarian Militia, in order to counteract the attacks of the TANCOL groups, these brave combatants belong to the Militia Command of the ZODI Zulia », he wrote on his Twitter social network account.
100% Tancol free
The actions that the FANB has been executing on the borders have the objective of eliminating all traces of the drug trafficking groups that come from Colombia, with the premise of completely ending the Tancols, following the order given by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who urged to declare 2022 as the year 100% free of irregular groups in the country.
