staff of the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) seized a peñero with 143 panelas of marijuana, on the coast of Falcón state, near the Morrocoy National Park, reported the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez.
Through his account on the social network Twitter, Hernández Lárez explained that the peñero transported the “143 panelas of marijuana with an approximate weight of 95 kilograms.”
“In patrol work in the Falcón state coastsat the height of the Morrocoy National Park, #FANB seizes a peñero that was transporting 143 panelas of marijuana with an approximate weight of 95 kg. Venezuela will not be a platform for drug trafficking,” he published.
Hernández Lárez stressed that “Venezuela will not be a platform for drug trafficking.”
The Bolivarian National Armed Forces remain active in the face of the actions of gangs or criminal groups that seek to introduce drug trafficking into the country.
In this sense, several operations have been carried out in tachiraSucre and Miranda, in recent days, in which narcotic substances have been seized.
FANB active against drug trafficking
Given these drug seizure operations throughout the country, the head of Ceofanb, Domingo Hernández Lárez, confirmed that the FANB continues to be deployed in its fight against drug trafficking.
“Venezuela actively fights against drug trafficking, to prevent its entry from the border states,” he stressed.
