This was reported by the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez.
Through a message posted on his account on the social network Twitter, Hernández Lárez explained that during the operation they seized high-explosive wrappers, rolls of detonating cord and detonators.
“In Bolívar #FANB detains 3 members of the Guayana Train, dedicated to illegal mining, kidnapping, extortion and robbery, seizing from them: 59 high-explosive packages, 11 rolls of detonating cord and 11 electric detonators. Venezuela is a State of peace, law and justice”, published the Chief of Ceofanb.
Given the arrest of these subjects, the Chief of the Ceofanb confirmed that the FANB remains deployed in Guyana, with the aim of dismantling illegal mining structures installed in the National Parks protected by the State.
“#FANB deployed in Guyana, dismantling illegal mining structures installed in National Parks and Forest Reserves protected by the State, which disrespect territorial planning and degrade the environment,” he said on Twitter.
Fight against micro-trafficking
In other operations, the FANB detained and dismantled armed groups in Bolívar. While, in Monagas, they seized drugs.
In Bolívar, the FANB detained two citizens who are members of the armed group calling itself La Organización, who had uniforms and war material in their possession.
“In Bolívar state, #FANB detains 2 members of the armed group calling itself La Organización, with uniforms and war material. Venezuela is a State of law and justice,” Hernández Lárez published on the social network.
Meanwhile, in Monadas, the troops captured two citizens, from whom eight packages of cocaine were seized.
«In the state of Monagas #FANB In the fight against drug trafficking, 2 subjects were arrested for micro-trafficking of drugs, seizing 8 packages containing cocaine,” said Hernández Lárez.
FANB active against drug trafficking and illegal mining
The FANB continues to be deployed at the different border posts in the country and in strategic entities, to put an end to the “micro-trafficking of drugs and narcotic and psychotropic substances.” In addition, they continue to work to eliminate irregular groups that intend to attack the ecosystem.
The FANB remains deployed throughout the national territorywith the firm objective of ending the criminal structures that try to establish themselves in the country.
