FANB arrests a subject with 126 marijuana wrappers in Zulia

The Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) arrested a citizen in the town of Carrasquero, Zulia statewith 126 wrappers of marijuana.

This was reported by the head of the FANB Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez, through a message on his account on the social network Twitter.

He also pointed out that the fight against micro-drug trafficking remains active in the country.

“In the town of Carrasquero, Zulia state, #FANB detains a citizen used by drug trafficking for the distribution of drugs, with 126 packages of marijuana. Venezuela in the fight against the micro-trafficking of drugs and narcotic and psychotropic substances,” he posted on Twitter.

In this regard, the Chief of Ceofanb stressed that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces remain active in the fight against drug trafficking.

The military troops maintain their operations at the different border posts of the country to end the “micro-trafficking of drugs and narcotic and psychotropic substances.”

The FANB continues deployed throughout the national territorywith the firm objective of ending the criminal structures that try to establish themselves in the country.

It should be remembered that during 2022 the FANB deployed at least 25 thousand military personnel in the border states, with the aim of safeguarding the nation and fighting irregular groups linked to drug trafficking on the border.
