Officials of the Bolivarian National Police Corps (Cpnb) rescued a family that was subdued and kidnapped during the night of this Friday, December 27, at a time when operations were ending in a commercial premises located in the El Cementerio sector in La Gran Caracas.
According to the police report, five armed individuals broke into the family business and, under threat of death, took her away in a red vehicle. A white van, owned by the victims, was also stolen, but after the rescue it was recovered by the authorities.
During the hours they were in captivity, the antisocials managed to strip them of all their personal belongings and $45,000 in cash.
Police pressure and the siege of Cpnb officials led to the rescue in the vicinity of Parque Central.
