Once again, the name of businessman Lorenzo Mendoza, executive president of Empresas Polar, comes to light to supposedly run for a popularly elected political position, therefore, on Friday, September 9, the media EsPaja.com received an official statement from this company indicating that it is false.
“At Empresas Polar we categorically deny said information and reject the attempts to confuse public opinion through the illegal use of our brands and the image of our Executive President in the dissemination of political messages,” the statement explains.
There are social network accounts that refer to a presumed “PAN National Alliance Platform” where they use symbols similar to that of the PAN Flour and images of businessman Lorenzo Mendoza.
In the document, Polar explains that this occurs after in recent days through social networks «political spokesmen have tried to confuse public opinion by showing that Empresas Polar and its executive president are in some way linked to an apparent political platform called PAN National Alliance Platform”.
The abrupt rise of the dollar in recent days is nothing more than the continuation of the devaluation of the bolivar, the consequences are multiple and negative, but the cause is the establishment of socialism in our economy.

According to the EsPaja.com portal, this also occurs due to an opinion article entitled “Lorenzo Mendoza will be the empire’s candidate” that was published on the portal clubbing the September 1, 2022under the signature of John Veroesthe portal detected social media accounts that belong to a PAN National Alliance Platform or PAN Platform, both in Facebook like in Twitter. Both accounts were created in 2021.
«The dissemination of these accounts is not massive (537 followers of the Facebook group, 122 followers of the Twitter page), but the use of symbols very similar to that of the Harina PAN product and montages of images that seem to suggest that Lorenzo Mendoza is in the running for the presidential elections that will presumably be held in Venezuela in 2024,” the portal said.
EsPaja.com communicated with the spokespersons of this alleged “PAN Platform” through the contact channels that appear in the Facebook group (an email and a telephone), but did not receive a response.
Empresas Polar said that this “trend to viralize fake news associated with our image, we interpret as attempts to manipulate public opinion to favor interests that we are unaware of and totally reject.”
