The INEOS professional cyclist, champion of a ‘Tour de France (2019)’ and a ‘Giro d’Italia (2021)’, has already taken his first steps accompanied by his family and people in charge of his physiotherapy.

Also, Egan recorded an emotional video where he pedaled on a stationary bicycle, showing a great evolution in the midst of his convalescence.
In the video, Egan has received messages from great athletes and celebrities from Colombia and the world, who admire his great strength and his desire to get ready to continue his sports career.
“Force mijin,” his teammate, Ecuadorian Richard Carapaz, wrote to him.
His team, INEOS, provided details of his progress:
“Egan is making great progress at home and working with a local rehab clinic where his recovery is going well. At present, our medical staff have not set a definitive timeline as to when we should expect to see him back on his bike.”
A few hours ago, a recording was also released where Egan kicks a soccer ball, another sign that his recovery is progressing satisfactorily every day.
