Easter 2023 Bonus, what can you buy with the assigned amount?

The first October bonus has not been canceled due to the emergency in Las Tejerías

The Easter 2023 bonus, with an amount of 100 bolivars, is part of the non-regular allocations made by the national government to commemorate national dates and other celebrations

The administration of Nicolás Maduro began the delivery of the Easter 2023 voucher, through the Patria System, from April 3 to 13. The delivery will be made progressively and directly to the selected people.

The assigned bond has an amount of 100 bolivars –just four bolivars more than the “moral and ethical” bonus– equivalent to 4.08 dollars, according to the official exchange rate for April 3 (Bs 24.48 per dollar).

Recipients will receive a notification via text message that reads: “Lord bless our homes and families, come into our hearts and reign in our lives, give us peace, love and understanding. Amen!”.

According to estimates, based on prices in popular markets, this bond could buy:

  • A kilo of precooked flour: 1.10 dollars
  • A kilo of rice: 1.10 dollars
  • A kilo of sugar: 1.15 dollars
  • ½ kilo of milk: Four dollars
  • 750 grams of hard cheese: Four dollars

The Easter 2023 bonus is part of the non-regular allocations made by the national government to commemorate national dates and other celebrations.

The Government started 2023 with an average increase of 60% in the amounts of the bonds granted through the Patria System. However, the situation does not compensate the different sectors of the country who assure that they cannot even cover the approximate cost of the basic food basket, which is between 370 and 480 dollars.
