Doctors leave Mapfre out of the suspension of the strike to the ARS

He Dominican Medical College (CMD) and the Specialized Medical Societies reported yesterday that they annulled the service strike that they had had for months against users of Universal de Seguros, and ARS Monumental, Renacer, Sigma and Primera de Humano.

However, by placing a floral offering at the Altar de la Patria on the occasion of the 179th anniversary of National Independence, Dr. Senen Caba said that they will maintain the suspension of care for Mapfre affiliates, because allegedly the Health Risk Administrator has a campaign of harassment and persecution against union members, who are being discriminated against in the granting of codes.

In addition, he declared that they will continue with the mobilization activities that they are carrying out together with other organizations and groups of professionals, demanding a change in the social security system.

“They will continue and with more strength,” stressed the president of the medical group, while inviting the population to the march that they will have next Sunday in San Juan, which will depart from the campus of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD ) to Sánchez park at 10:00 in the morning.

He stated that if there are no new advances in the fulfillment of their claims, as of March 7 they will not only resume the fight, but will deepen it due to the absence of effective mediation.

The speech was not substantial

Caba affirmed that in the accountability speech, Luis Abinader said few truths regarding health.

Despite the investments, the doctor indicated that the care centers are still warehouses for patients and that the High Cost Drug Program is not working.
