Dinatran estimates that more than 40,000 people will pass through the Asunción terminal between today and tomorrow

The Abg. Ovidio Talavera, general director of land transport of the National Transport Directorate (Dinatran), reported that they expect some 80,000 people to leave for Caacupé from the Bus Terminal this week alone.

He pointed out that from Monday to Wednesday at noon, the sum already reached 35,400 people. But, like every year, this is expected to increase much more between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday, December 8.

The Dinatran fleet is made up of 1,257 short, medium and long distance vehicles. But reinforcements of buses from the vice ministry of transport are expected due to the increase in demand. These numbers are only for people who leave for Caacupé from the Asunción Bus Terminal.
