The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ope Pasquet, adjourned the session on Tuesday night in Parliament because there was no quorum. The session that Pasquet was predisposed to initiate would deal with the involuntary hospitalization of addicts, proposed by the Ministry of Social Development. It refers to the provision of compulsory assistance by the State to people living on the street. This is the modification of the sole article of Law 18,787.
