On Saturday, August 27, during a meeting held at the Santiago Mariño Municipal Theater, in the city of Porlamar, Nueva Esparta state, the president of the Encuentro Ciudadano party, Delsa Solorzanosaid that she is now ready to take on the challenge of being a candidate, winning the primaries and then becoming the first female President of Venezuela.
“I have had to support other candidates many times and I have done it with commitment and absolute dedication for my country,” Solórzano assured. In addition, she reiterated that both she and the organization she represents will firmly support whoever wins the process, so that become the next president of Venezuela.

“No one can do it alone, we are all pushing in the same direction to achieve the goal,” he said.
He reiterated the proposals that, before the Unitary Platform, his party presented several months ago: primaries with a double round if necessary and without the direct participation of the CNE to guarantee the privacy of the voters.. He assured that the Unitary Platform works to have in the short term the rules that will govern the opposition primary.
