The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, received representatives of the Central Unica de Trabajadores de Brasil (CUT) at the Miraflores Palace.
The delegation is made up of Sergio Nobre, president of the Central Unitary Union of Workers of Brazil (CUT), Moisés Selerges Junior, president of the Metallurgical Workers Union (ABC), Marcos José Duarte, Consultant to the National Presidency of the CUT, among other union representatives.
This meeting, which takes place in the Presidential Office, seeks to consolidate relations of friendship and complementarity between peoples and is accompanied by the Venezuelan President, the People’s Power Minister for the Social Work Process, Francisco Torrealba, the Sectoral Vice President of Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, and the Minister of Popular Power for the Office of the Presidency, Jorge Márquez.
The Single Central of Workers of Brazil (CUT) was the first state union founded in the country of Rio de Janeiro, on April 29, 1984. It is guided by intense mobilizations in the struggle for the working class.
