Deadline for Ombudsman candidates ends, but the line of interested parties remains long

At 6:00 p.m. this Friday, the Police stationed themselves at the doors of the so-called ‘palace of the revolution’ where the offices of the Mixed Commission of the Constitution were installed to receive the applicants for Ombudsman, many people were left out, inside the building there were almost a hundred interested parties who want to deliver their documents.

The last day of receipt of documents it was chaos in the commission due to the large number of people who came to it. For the Ombudsman election in 2016, the final number of applicants was 163 peopleThis year, that figure will be surpassed without difficulty.

Outside the building the chaos was greater, because people complained that they went out to complete some photocopy requirement and they were no longer allowed to enter. A contingent of police guarded the door as a barrier against the crowd.
