This Monday, the former Mayor of Nueva Helvecia and current Decentralization Coordinator of the Planning and Budget Office (OPP), María de Lima, was part of the delegation led by the Secretary of the Presidency Álvaro Delgado, who appeared before the Budget Commission integrated with Treasury of the House of Representatives.
The commission that studies the accountability project sent by the Executive Power is chaired by Deputy Álvaro Rodríguez, and the vice-presidency of Ana Olivera.
“Education, science and technology, there is a strong stamp on educational transformation with a lot of money destined to give it more autonomy and strengthen educational centers in terms of plans, but obviously the pandemic conditioned us in these first two years. Now we want to accelerate educational transformation, which is the most important thing we have,” said Delgado.
The Secretary of the Presidency insisted that this Accountability “is that of education, science and technology”, but clarified that “obviously there will also be a security reinforcement component, which I think is important to highlight” .
Also participating in the delegation from the Presidency of the Republic were Deputy Secretary Rodrigo Ferres, Director General Hebert Paguas, Director of the OPP, Isaac Alfie, Director of Sinae Sergio Rico, deputy director of OPP, Benjamín Irazabal, Director of the Office National Civil Service, Conrado Ramos and the OPP Decentralization Coordinator, María de Lima.
