Cundinamarca Police delivered balance on incident between barristas in Chía-Cota variant

The Cundinamarca Sectional Police delivered the balance of what happened in the afternoon on the Chía-Cota road, in which several users of social networks, they let see how some barristas with soccer team shirts, rebuked some citizens those who intimidated with white weapons.

Subsequently, they attacked some residential areas and commercial premises, where with sticks, stones and macheres, they intimidated the people who live near these municipalitieswhile they were traveling on some buses to the city of Tunja.

To clarify the fact, the institution reported that “a reciprocal fight occurs between two groups of people who wore jerseys of a soccer team, which were mobilized on the Chia-Cota road”, they also added that there were five wounded by a sharp weapon, which They were taken by ambulance to the Chía Clinic., where two of the victims have serious damage to the ribcage and one of their lungs. These were identified as: Santiago Andrés Mejía Arias, Jhon James Correa Arteaga, Daniel Felipe Roldán, Cristian Flores Mejía and Juan Camilo Patino.

However, the mayor of Cota, Néstor Orlando Guitarrero Sánchez, gave more details of what happened, and confirmed that they were very distressing hours, in which they even had to make road closures since the situation became a bit tense.

He also confirmed that, in common agreement with the Police, the buses that transported these people to the city of Bogotá were returned. And that this incident was formed by fan groups that support the same team, only that some moved from Medellín and others from the country’s capital.
