Covid: Bolivia registers 1,027 infections and recovers 570 patients

For the third consecutive day, the country is reporting more than a thousand cases. 1,027 antigen tests were positive in the nine departments this Friday, November 19, according to data from the Ministry of Health and Sports. In addition, 570 patients overcame the disease.

The Santa Cruz department, as usual, concentrates the largest number of new infected with 555, It is followed by La Paz with 167, Cochabamba with 129, Tarija with 85 and Chuquisaca with 44. In Oruro there were 18 cases, 14 in Potosí, 12 in Pando and three in Beni.

In this way, the accumulated number of infections in Bolivia reached 528,407, since the pandemic began in March 2020. Thus, active cases rose to 23,365. While the number of recovered amounted to 485,991, after the 570 people who defeated the virus today.

For its part, the National Directorate of Epidemiology mourned the death of two people. what caused the deaths totals reached 19,051.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, to date 3,907,951 first doses have been applied, 3,065,609 second and 363,267 booster vaccines. The doses used are: Sputnik V, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Pfizer and Janssen.
