Covid-19 cases drop to less than a thousand in the entire country

Less than a thousand new cases of coronavirus were registered this Saturday in the countryaccording to the latest report from the Ministry of Health, while 20,793 anticovid doses were applied at the different immunization points.

The Ministry of Health and Sports, in its daily report, reported that until this Saturday, February 12, 12,241,351 doses were applied between the first, second, third, single dose, dose to the different age groups of the Sputnik V, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Pfizer and Janssen vaccines throughout the national territory.

Of which 5,828,106 health specialists, teachers, elderly people, people over 18 years of age and pregnant women, received the first dose of the vaccine against Covid-19, likewise, 4,454,628 second doses were applied; 994,961 single dose; In addition, 963,656 over 18 years of age and with underlying diseases received the third dose.

The report states that 592,422 first doses and 305,978 second doses were applied to children aged 5 to 11 years, while 705,034 adolescents from 12 to 17 years in first doses and 492,230 in the second.

The total of the vaccines managed and acquired by the national government exceeds 22,505,000 doses.

Saturday’s Epidemiological Report shows that 2,637 patients recovered from Covid-19 and were discharged; In addition, 5,729 tests were carried out, 733 gave positive results and 4,996 were discarded.

The report issued by the National Directorate of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health and Sports, establishes that the national accumulated number of recovered patients up to this day amounts to 750,361.

The registry of recovered patients by department is as follows: 1,086 in Santa Cruz, 874 in Cochabamba, 297 in La Paz, 191 in Chuquisaca, 136 in Tarija, 50 in Potosí, 42 in Oruro, 0 in Beni and 0 in Pando.
