Court ordered arrest of couple for incitement to hatred

The 4th Special Court of Control with jurisdiction in cases related to Terrorism ordered the capture of Olga Lucila Mata de Gil and Florencio Gil Mata, reported the attorney general, Tarek William Saab through his Twitter account.

Florencio Gil’s arrest was already executed by agents attached to the Cicpc Computer Crimes Division. To materialize the arrest of Olga Lucila, Judge José Mascimino Márquez García sent a letter to the Cicpc.

The couple will be prosecuted for the alleged commission of the crime of promoting or inciting hatred because the two “instigated the murder of public figures”, according to what was written by Saab.

The video

One of the materials that supports the criminal prosecution of the couple is a video posted on the TikTok social network where they show a short film with the participation of a woman making arepas for sale.

There is a voice that asks “what’s in the arepas”. The woman responds with different fillers that allude to public personalities such as the Attorney General, the deputy Iris Varela, the wife of the Head of State Cilia Flores and the first vice president of the Psuv Diosdado Cabello, among others.

When mentioning the name of Cilia Flores, the arepera says that they call that arepa “La Viuda”. There her voice replied to the lady pointing out that she Flores “is not yet a widow”. And the arepera replies: “well, but that’s what we all want”
