Delsa Solórzano’s campaign command denounced this Saturday, March 18, the harassment to which her candidate for the opposition primary is subjected during her tour of the country.

The “United We Are Better” command detailed in a press release that the persecution of Solórzano has increased in recent weeks.

During her recent tour of the Trujillo, Portuguesa and Lara states, the Encuentro Ciudadano party standard-bearer was followed by alleged officials of the political police of the Nicolás Maduro administration.

“She is constantly photographed, one and even two vehicles without a license plate follow her vehicle night and day, the situation has escalated in recent weeks,” they stated through the presentation of a video posted on social networks.

They add that the harassment will not prevent Solórzano and his team from maintaining the pace of their tour, which already includes a hundred municipalities throughout the country in the last quarter of the year.

«I have been facing the dictatorship for more than 20 years. We will continue to do so, the response to attacks and intimidation is more work. We will continue raising our voices and touring the country. Our goal is political change to liberate Venezuela,” the leader wrote on her Twitter account.

They also released a video in which the candidate is observed facing one of the vehicles that follows her.
