An engine failure

According to local media reports, the hypothesis of an engine failure is being handled. To avoid the crash of the device on a populated area, the crew tried to direct the aircraft towards a clear place to cause the least possible impact on the population; reviewed the newspaper The Spanish.

According to preliminary versions, the accident occurred in the Cabí sector, in the Niño Jesús neighborhood of the Chocoan capital.

Several residents were able to record the moment of the events, images that were quickly disseminated on social networks.

“It is with sadness that I regret to report that there were no survivors in the plane crash in Quibdó. I accompany the families of the CT. Hector Jerez, TE. Julieth Garcia, SS. Johan Orozco and SS. Ruben Leguizamon in this painful moment. We will not leave them alone,” asked Petro.

The military personnel on board the aircraft were part of a supply operation carried out by the joint force to bring food to all the soldiers who carry out missions in the upper and lower Baudó, Colombian municipality.
