The reception is scheduled to take place, initially, until Monday (13), starting at 7 pm and extending until 8 am the following day, with the distribution of mattresses, blankets, hygiene kits and meals.

The initiative maintains the same format as the previous action, carried out between May 17th and 20th, which housed 179 people in total: capacity to house 100 people per night at Pedro II do Metrô station and the provision of dinner to people through a unit of the Bom Prato Móvel program. The following morning, the sheltered are taken to the 25 de Março unit in Bom Prato for breakfast.

The more open weather during the morning, with few clouds, provided favorable conditions for temperatures to drop and intensify the feeling of cold, according to the Emergency Management Center (CGE) of the city of São Paulo. On average, the thermometers registered 9.9°C, and the lowest absolute values ​​were measured in the extreme south of the capital.

The CGE meteorological stations recorded 5.9°C in Engenheiro Marsilac and 6.1°C in Capela do Socorro and Parelheiros. The maximum should not exceed 17°C and the feeling of cold remains throughout the day.

According to the CGE, the minimum temperature should reach 10ºC during the next dawn and the Municipal Civil Defense maintains a state of alert for low temperatures for the entire city. The forecast points out that the cold polar air only begins to lose strength from next Thursday (16), when temperatures begin to rise.

Monday (13) should start with few clouds, southeast wind and thermometers around 7°C, and in the more peripheral regions and closer to the southern end of the city, the cold will be more intense. Maximum temperatures should not exceed 16°C.

Tuesday morning (14) will still be freezing, according to the CGE. Thermometers should register an average of 10°C, but the southeast winds enhance the feeling of cold. The sun should predominate throughout the day, but the maximum temperatures should not exceed 16°C.
