Codeni representative regrets that “Nenecho” does not give due importance to children

Anibal Cabrera, executive director of the Coordinator for the Rights of Children and Adolescents (Codeni), commented in an interview for Ñanduti radio that he is very concerned about the way in which the Municipality of Asunción deals with cases that have to do with children.

“We are concerned about how the Municipality is dealing with the issue of Codeni, people know that this organization should be in all municipalities to be more practical with those who need their services,” he said.

“It seems to me that this sensitive issue cannot be approached so lightly, for people it is very practical to have Codeni in the mansion,” added Cabrera.

In addition, the director stressed that the Municipality does not fulfill its duties with minors and that is reflected in the streets of the capital where the lack of protection towards children can be observed.
