Officials of the Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC) captured alleged criminals who belonged to the criminal gang “El Firulais”, dedicated to the illicit trade of narcotics in the La Esmeralda community, La Vega parish, in Caracas.
During a security device carried out in the sector by the Commission of the Western Drug Investigation Division in the Capital District, the officials confronted the criminal group, where the leader of the gang, Edward Antonio Guardia Borges de 27 years old, nicknamed El Firulais, who was transferred to the Doctor Miguel Ángel Rangel Hospital, where he died upon admission.
Likewise, Jesús Eduardo Toro Morón (20) and Carlos José Álvarez Montaño (18) were captured, from whom 289 drug packages, two scales, two firearms, a firearm charger and a cell phone were seized.
The case was left to the order of the Public Ministry.
