“We are in a duel where people think that we have no feelings, people saying that the child was helped when that is a big lie. We arrived, the child was alone lying on the platform, people dedicated themselves to recording and gossiping. The boy was not helped,” he noted.

The woman said that “People don’t know how much pain we’re feeling for them to make comments like, Where was the mom? Well, I was waiting for my son.”

The woman called on the Government to reinforce security in the area and extended her call to the FARC dissidents and the other armed groups, so that peace can be achieved in Colombia.

The activity was carried out with white roses, candles, a Eucharist and a minute of silence for the death of minors. According to the first investigations, the responsibility for the CAI attack is attributed to one of the FARC dissident fronts that commit crimes in Catatumbo and Venezuela, commanded by alias ‘John Mechas’.

Precisely, a reward of up to 5,000 million pesos and 5,000,000 dollars was offered for information that helps to find the whereabouts of this guerrilla.
