The Social Security of Health (EsSalud) reported the health status of the 3-year-old minor who was kidnapped and abused by Juan Antonio Enríquez García (48), in the district of José Leonardo Ortiz (Chiclayo).
According to EsSalud, the infant remains hospitalized at the Almanzor Aguinaga Asenjo National Hospital of the Lambayeque Benefit Network and continues to receive specialized medical care.
“His health is stable and he is recovering. After the respective evaluation, the pediatric surgeon determined that the minor had to undergo surgery for reconstructive surgery”, communicated EsSalud.
Likewise, it was specified that this operation was carried out immediately on Wednesday, April 14, and concluded successfully. “Specialized hospital personnel provide psychological care to the minor and her parents, with the aim of providing them with the corresponding emotional support”limited the institution.
The case
The kidnapping of the minor occurred last Tuesday, April 12, when she was at the corner of La Despensa and Goicochea streets, as recorded by a video surveillance camera.
The images show the exact moment in which the girl is carried by a man, who was next to a light blue vehicle, and is placed in the passenger seat.
The mother, realizing the kidnapping of her daughter, reported the incident to the National Police. The next day, after some intelligence work, the PNP located the car with license plate BYM-238.

According to the head of the II Lambayeque Police Macroregion, PNP General Rafael Ríos Zavala, Juan Antonio Enríquez García was intervened during the investigation, and he admitted to being the kidnapper.
Pretrial detention ordered
The Judiciary issued nine months of preventive detention against Juan Antonio Enríquez García (48) accused of kidnapping and sexually abusing Damaris, a minor under 3 years of age. The incident occurred in the district of José Leonardo Ortiz, province of Chiclayo Chiclayo (Lambayeque).
The head of the Second Preparatory Investigation Court of José Leonardo Ortiz, María Vásquez Vásquez, ordered the measure in response to a request from the Public Ministry that accused Juan Antonio Enríquez of the crimes of rape and kidnapping against the minor.
