CFCRL will qualify the election for oil leader

The Federal Center for Conciliation and Labor Registration will rate the process election to general secretary of the Petroleum Workers Union of the Mexican Republic (STPRM) once the trade union organization submits the request for change of leadership that will lead Ricardo Aldana.

This was reported by the Secretary of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS) who highlighted that “the elections were characterized by a high percentage of participation, a total of 63,700 workers cast their votewhich corresponds to 88% of the workers registered on the platform sirvolaband 73% of all unionized workers”.

He indicated that in the following days, the STPRM You must request the CFCRL to take note of the change of directive. The authority will analyze the request and resolve the disagreements to issue a ruling within a period not exceeding 10 days from receiving the request.

If the election is validated, the elected candidate will formally take office of general secretary from the date of issuance of the notice of change of directors and until December 31, 2024.
