The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Cecilia Moreau, said this Thursday that from her new role she will seek to “build the necessary consensus and advance an agenda that seeks to solve people’s problems,” while stressing that the new Minister of Economy , Sergio Massa, “has the ability to articulate dialogue with the different sectors”.

In television statements for Channel 26, the head of the Lower House reinforced the idea of ​​building consensus “to advance projects that respond to people’s needs.”

Likewise, he pointed out that it is essential to work in a coordinated manner with the current national economic team and indicated that the assumption of Massa comes to “order a complex economic situation for Argentina.”

He also referred to the challenge of being in charge of the presidency of the Chamber of Deputies: “It gives me a double responsibility, not only because of the role that I have to play, but also because for the first time we women have come to this place”.
