This Monday, in the program coffee in the morningbroadcast by Venezuelan Televisionthe president of the Simón Bolívar Institute for Peace and Solidarity (ISB), Carlos Ron, stressed that the institution represents two fundamental pillars in Venezuelan foreign policy: the Diplomacy of the Peoples and the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace for what is sought , in this way, the meeting with other peoples who fight for the same causes.
Ron highlighted that about 30% of the world’s countries are under some unilateral coercive measure by the United States (US).
Likewise, he indicated that the institution is in charge of raising its voice against injustices, for which a mobilization in solidarity with Julian Assange will be carried out in October, where the Institute will be lending its support “it is a way of demonstrating that Solidarity is not only received by Venezuela from other peoples, but also given to those great causes of humanity”.

Ron reported that in order to hold the National General Assembly of the United Nations in the coming weeks, they will be attending New York to support the event organized by the People’s Summit Movement where they will reflect on the illegality of coercive measures and aggression against countries.

Later, from October 24 to 29, in conjunction with the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research (IVIC) and other organizations, the ISB will host the Seventh Decolonial School of Caracas.
“One of the activities that we have organized is the Brigade of People in Solidarity with Venezuela, an initiative that brings together personalities who have come to the country and have been closely seeing what the reality is, and not only the impact of the coercive measures, but also the resistance and creativity of the Venezuelan people, which is a people in struggle”, said the president of the institute.
