The president of the Panamanian Chamber of Construction (Capac), Carlos Allen, pointed out that the current crisis has affected the works carried out in the construction sector, since the closure of avenues and demonstrations have prevented some workers from reaching time to their posts or are absent, even the construction materials and supplies do not arrive on the agreed days, which represents a significant delay.
He expressed that the Government has to understand that it must make fundamental changes in its policy of doing things. “We do not ignore, in any way, the claims of the protesters, such as the issue of the basic food basket, fuel and medicine,” he said.
