Caracas Metro activates surface contingency route on line 1 due to faults on the track

The Caracas Subway maintains this April 9 the Temporary Single Track (VUT) between the stations Palo Verde and Dos Camino, as well as the contingency route for the Metrobús in the same direction after faults in the road.

Through the social network Twitter, the Metro explained that line 1 continues to operate from Propatria to Los Dos Caminos. From that station, the Metrobús makes stops at stations Los Cortijos, La California, Petare and Palo Verde. To mobilize users who move through this sector of the city”, he pointed out.

They indicated that the VUT and the Metrobús contingency route will remain active until the intervention of the segment by the railway maintenance personnel who work continuously is completed, reports the web portal of the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN).

This April 08, the operational staff found it necessary to evacuate the train that was going to Palo Verde due to a fault in the railway.
