After a crater opened up due to an accident at the work on Line 6-Orange of the Metro, in the capital of São Paulo, near the local lane of Marginal Tietê, towards Ayrton Senna highway, the Traffic Engineering Company (CET) suspended until Friday fair (4) the Municipal Vehicle Rotation, the Truck Rotation and the Maximum Restriction Zones for Trucks and Charters.
The Blue Zone and the ban on the circulation of vehicles in the lanes and exclusive bus lanes are maintained.
THE accident happened on the morning of this Tuesday (1st) in the works of Line 6 – Orange of the Metro and caused the collapse of part of the runway of Marginal Tietê, in the north of São Paulo, near the bridge of Freguesia do Ó. There were no injuries.

The Traffic Engineering Company (CET) reported that the local lane of Marginal Tietê, towards Ayrton Senna highway, has traffic diverted to the corridor of Avenida Ermano Marchetti/Marquês de São Vicente, at the height of Ponte do Piqueri, and return to the Marginal via Pedro Corazza Square, at the height of the Freguesia do Ó Bridge.
Vehicles traveling through the central lane are being diverted to the expressway at the height of the construction site, only returning to the central lane afterwards. The express lane has been fully cleared for vehicle traffic since 1:00 pm on Tuesday.
Vehicles coming from the Presidente Dutra, Fernão Dias, Bandeirantes, Anhanguera and Castelo Branco highways are being directed to the Rodoanel and the mini-ring road, formed by the avenues Salim Farah Maluf, Luis Ignácio de Anhaia Melo, the Provisional Boards, Presidente Tancredo Neves and the Bandeirantes.
The CET also informed that field agents are on site advising drivers and adopting the necessary measures to improve the flow of traffic. The company asks drivers to avoid Marginal Tietê and the roads in the region.
