Capriles proposed some topics for the meeting: “Let’s discuss the hunger that you, those of the leadership in power, are putting millions of Venezuelans through, about the devaluation and pulverization of salaries and Christmas bonuses, injustice, corruption, discrimination against who believe that a better country can still be built”
Former state governor Miranda Henrique Capriles responded via Twitter to the invitation made by Nicolás Maduro to debate. “Now Maduro wants to debate, let’s go, but before he lifts the disqualifications of those who took away our right to be elected,” conditioned the opposition leader.
On November 17, Maduro challenged Henrique Capriles to a debate. The president said that this leader of Primero Justicia, who has not yet made his candidacy official with a view to the 2024 presidential elections, is touring the country “with his lies, with his demagogy, with his falsehood, claiming the fourth republic, speaking badly of Venezuela, speaking ill of the Constitution, speaking ill of the people.
In the same way, Capriles proposed some topics for the meeting: «Let’s discuss hunger that you those of the leadership in power make millions of Venezuelans pass through, about the devaluation and pulverization of salaries and bonuses, injustice, corruption, discrimination against those of us who think that a better country can still be built.
In the opinion of Henrique Capriles, a meeting with Nicolás Maduro to discuss “will be the greatest victory for Venezuelans who want progress and a better future,” he added in another tweet.

One of the proposals of Capriles, who was a unitary presidential candidate on two occasions, in 2012 and 2013, is to make the country “a tourism powerhouse”, an activity with which he assures that they could generate jobs.
