Puebla, Pue. At Historic Center of the Angelopolis Apartments from 500,000 up to almost 2 million pesos will be offered, so old buildings will have to be reused and new complexes will be built. In a first stage, 3,957 homes will be available over the next three years.
The foregoing after the signing of an agreement between the municipality of Puebla and the National Chamber of the Housing Development and Promotion Industry (Canadevi) to give tax incentives to those who carry out real estate projects to repopulate this area of Angelopolis.
The mayor, Eduardo Rivera Pérez, said that this start-up is sought for 15,000 people to come to live, as well as promote the repopulation of 34 neighborhoods and neighborhoods.
He deepened that, for this real estate development, an investment of more than 4,000 million pesos is contemplated, as well as the generation of more than 31,656 direct and indirect jobs.
He stressed that this project is also part of the economic reactivation program headed by the state government and that also included the Institute of the National Fund for Housing for Workers (Infonavit) for the delivery of credits, although the acquisition will also be open through financing via banks.
Among the fiscal incentives that will be given to developers are Zero Rate on the Tax on the Acquisition of Real Estate, discounts of up to 100% on the payment of rights for the construction of houses in the Historic Center, of social and popular scheme, as well as matching the costs of the municipal rights of vertical housing to the costs of horizontal housing, for obtaining construction licenses.
When the current municipality of Puebla just came into office, in October of last year, it was announced that the project would be for 10,000 houses and three weeks ago it was adjusted to 7,000.
However, the president of Canadevi, Ariosto Goytortua López, clarified that the almost 4,000 houses are part of a first phase and as they see the response, the remaining 3,000 will be built.
However, he stressed that building such a number of apartments initially turns out to be important because there has been no history of projects to repopulate the area.
He indicated that it is not about generating business for some buyer, whose intention is not to live in the center but to rent, for this reason the agreement determined that it be through individual credits to place the offer that is generated and, with it, achieve the repopulation.
