The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, reported on the arrest of 11 people involved in the attack on the National Electric System (SEN) that occurred last Friday, August 30.
During the broadcast of his television program Con el Mazo Dando, the Minister of the Interior, Justice and Peace also stated on Wednesday that “there are already detainees and we are transferring them to Caracas, the saboteurs, the terrorists.”
Cabello also said that “on the day of the blackout, people were clear that it was María Corina Machado who sent the attack” on the SEN that affected the electricity supply to more than 20 states in the country for several hours.
“Our people are wise (…) We pulled the string and we have already arrested some people. There will be justice here,” he emphasized.
