In a march from Yaracuy, Diosdado Cabello criticized the opposition for “being divided” and requiring primaries to define a candidate who faces Chavismo, reiterating that the only figure who supports the entire red party is Nicolás Maduro.
The vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), toured several states in the interior of the country leading Chavismo marches in campaign events ahead of the presidential elections scheduled for 2024, in which he stated that Chavismo will not abandon the power “neither by hook nor by crook”.
From Guárico, Cabello criticized the opposition presidential candidates for running after “requesting” sanctions, blockades and invasions of the international community, a formula that, he reiterated, would not cause an overthrow.
«In this country, who decides is the people. They appear after asking for sanctions, blockades and even invasions against their own people. I am going to tell you something that I have been saying for a long time: neither by hook nor by crook are we leaving here, “he declared.
Later, in another march led from Yaracuy, he leveled another criticism against the opposition for “being divided” and requiring primaries to define a candidate who faces Chavismo, reiterating that the only figure who supports the entire red party is Nicolás Maduro.
«They are divided into a thousand pieces. Chavismo must be united. We are not looking for candidates, we already have ours, the Chavista people rest with Nicolás Maduro, “he stressed.

He also insisted that Chavismo has the capacity to mobilize in the streets to “defend itself” from any attempt “by bad” carried out by the opposition.
«The streets belong to the people, they are not to the bourgeoisie. We are street and we have learned to defend the revolution in the streets. By the bad, we go to the streets, to the battle and to the victory », he emphasized.
