Brazil is closing agreements for the purchase of diesel from Russia, revealed the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Carlos Franca, this Tuesday (12). “We need to ensure that there will be enough diesel for Brazilian agribusiness, and, of course, for Brazilian drivers,” said França during a visit to the United Nations (UN) headquarters in New York.
The Brazilian chancellor said that the country wants to buy “as much as possible” of the raw material from Russia.
“We depend a lot on fertilizer exports from Russia and Belarus as well. And of course, Russia is a big supplier of oil and gas. You can ask that to Germany. You can ask that to Europe. So Brazil, we are with little stock of it,” said França.
