Brazil receives another 2.1 million doses of vaccines from Pfizer

More than 2.1 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine against covid-19, aimed at the public over 12 years of age, arrive in Brazil this Friday (4). The new shipment will join the more than 177 million doses of vaccine sent for the immunization campaign.

Vaccines land at Guarulhos Airport, in São Paulo. “Soon after undergoing strict quality control, the immunizing agents will begin to be distributed to the states and the Federal District, following criteria of equality and population proportion”, informs the ministry.

Vaccination

The vaccination campaign against covid-19 exceeded more than 407 million doses of vaccines distributed to states, municipalities and the Federal District. Of these, more than 359 million were applied, according to the ministry’s balance sheet.
