Brazil Caravan for Women starts tomorrow in Campo Grande

Campo Grande receives this Saturday (21) the caravan Brasil para Elas. The capital of Mato Grosso do Sul will be the first of about ten cities that should receive courses, training, credit offers and lectures by the end of June. The proposal, according to the special secretary for Productivity and Competitiveness of the Ministry of Economy, Daniella Marques, is to encourage and support women to start a professional activity.Brazil Caravan for Women starts tomorrow in Campo Grande

“We made a great partnership with all the entities of the S System, Senai, Sebrae, Sesi, with the banks, Caixa, Banco do Brasil”, he said, in an interview with the program The Voice of Brazil. “There will be a lecture, account opening, we will teach you how to use PIX and, above all, offer free courses [com duração] from one day to 90 days”, he added.

The secretary recalled that the Auxílio Brasil program, for example, has more than 11 million women registered – about two-thirds of the total. “We want not only to provide social assistance for these women to take care of their families, but also to provide support for them to start earning their own income and take care of their children and themselves with their own income, with their own activity”, she explained.

“We will be in the field not only with the Ministry of Economy, but with the Ministry of Women and the banks. This field work is precisely to capture the demand, what the woman wants. We want to support women so that they can be whatever they want”, she concluded.
