The president of Chile, Gabriel Boric, offered Chile as the venue to restart the dialogue between the Government of Colombia and the National Liberation Army (ELN).
The proposal was made on Thursday during a meeting with the elected vice president of Colombia, France Marquezwho is on a tour of various countries on the continent.
At the meeting, Márquez thanked the President for his “fraternal welcome, as well as his willingness to work for the Peace of Colombia. We value his willingness to work on a new drug policy, against racism, climate change and for gender justice,” he said.
